so this is my first knitting project i started on my own. i didn't know anything about gauge, so i used what needles i had ~ which are size 9. that and its really really wide, i cast on 40...so its a very slow project indeed. i've been working on it for about 5 years now. i started it my freshman year in college, lol. mainly i work on it during road trips :) going to florida for spring break really helped it grow ;) there are tons of mistakes, but i don't know how to fix them and i'll be keeping it for myself anyways so i don't mind ~ i like to think of them as adding character :) that and the pattern kinda changed too, which i think is odd. its the yarn that varies and it started out with tiny spots and then they somehow turned into large spots :-p
