so i finished the scarf on a nice long bus ride to go to a pottery town in japan :) karen slept most of the time so i just listened to my ipod and knitted away ~ she loves the scarf so that's good since it's my first finished gift for anyone (its the first thing i've really ever finished to be honest :-p)
